Explore the Unexplored Places of Kerala

Kerala is globally renowned travel and tourism destination, where thousands travel from different corners
of the world to soak in its appealing beauty and nature’s splendor. Kerala showcase and in fact offer various reasons to tempt tourists.

How one can miss out the delicious and lip smacking cuisine, the rejuvenating therapy of Kerala Ayurveda, the classical dance and enriching art forms, etc. You also get to see and explore many interesting tourism places like Kochi, Trivandrum, Munnar, Wayanad, and Thekkady but apart from these, there are many other rural and less explored places, which are really picturesque and entertaining.

Kumbalangi Island Village
It is an amazingly beautiful spot where one can enjoy and rejoice in the splendor of the nature. Endowed with backwaters and emerald green paddy fields, Kumbalangi offer an amazingly beautiful appeal that spells out heaven for all visitors.

Boat Cruise the most common activity but it is also famous for its organic rice farming. It is nothing less than entertaining as the village offer exciting trip experience, offer backwater cruise and the village outcast magical spell with their folklore and delicious cuisine, extremely delicious and mouthwatering.

A picturesque village, Thiruvilmala is a nature’s wonder. The soothing ambiance of the nature, the charming attractions and the serenity of the temple make this place a must visit, if you are planning for village tours in Kerala. It is more of a temple town than a village and is magnificently surrounded by two rivers, Bharatapuzhi and Gayatri. It ranks first in the temple towns as there are many temples in Thiruvilwamala.

Known for its geographical peculiarities, Kuttanad is one among the few regions in the world where farming is done below the sea level. It is also known as the “Rice Bowl of Kerala” as the rice production from this region is maximum and one can enjoy the panoramic view of the lush green paddy fields. It is also known for its avian population and one can easily spot flocks of parrots hovering over the paddy fields whose stalks are ready or are in bloom.

Beside these, there are many other interesting places to explore which are least visited by the tourists or travellers on Kerala visit. Few more to add to the lists are Chembra Peak, Silent Valley National Park, Banasura Sagar Dam, Veliyaparamba Backwaters, Vazhachal Falls, Nelliampathi, Idduki Dam, etc. These places of interest are amazingly beautiful and are incredible gift of nature, where one can enjoy and have wonderful time in ecstasy.
