Itinerary
Day: 01 Cochin - Athirapally Arrival at Cochin
airport or Railway station, and transfer to Athirapally ( 60 kms ).
Check in at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure to relax in the
Resort. Overnight stay at the resort.
Day 02:
Athirapally After breakfast we will take you for local
sightseeing, Laze in our infinity pool Fishing in the river, Visit
the tribal village or Trek to the base of the waterfall. In the
afternoon return back to the hotel and Overnight stay at hotel
Day 03 :Departure After breakfast at 0900 Hrs
check out from the hotel and transfer you to Cochin- airport /
Railway station to board the flight / train to onward destination.
Athirampally- Vazhachal Waterfalls
Athirappalli (78 kms from Kochi)
The gorgeous
and famous waterfall on the border of the Sholayar forest ranges are
just 5 km apart. The Athirappalli Falls joins the Chalakkudy River
after falling down a drop of 80 feetfrom the hight. Vazhachal is one
part of the Chalakkudy River. Both the waterfalls, their cool, misty
water fall down in the backdrop of thick green forest and rocky
land, and are a prime attraction for tourists for ever.
Starting tranquilly from the high ranges, and rolling through gorge
overhang with trees, this waterfall is one of the beautiful
waterfalls in India. One gets lost in the beauty and the mist of the
beautiful falls. The Athirapalli waterfalls provides a welcome

September is the best month to visit Athirapally waterfalls, because
the waterfalls are in complete force just after the monsoons.Both
waterfalls are fraction of the Chalakudy river and 5 km apart on the
road to hill station (Valparai) which has exceptional tea estate and
has one of India's highest elephant density habitats and is a
crucial passage between Parambikulam and Malayattur.

The Vazhachal waterfall (83 kms from Kochi), is a gorgeous and
popular waterfall on the border of the Sholayar forest range in
Kerala. The Vazhachal is part of the Chalakkudy River and 5 km from
Athirapally waterfall.

Charpa Falls : located in the east of Athirappilly is
the delightful but lesser known Charpa falls which plunge on to the
road during monsoon.
Anakkayam : Anakkayam
is around 20 km from Chalakudy on the Sholayar Peringalkuthu route.
Anakkayam means the "Elephant pit". It is noted for a lake
with cool and calm waters.
Mulamkuzhi : The
crystal clear medicated water of the River Mulamkuzhi and the
waterfalls of Venanbravady near Malayattur in Eranakulam is a sight
value watching. There is also a convergence of the rivers Periyar
and Perumthode.

height of about 1600 meters between Munnar and Rajamala Nyamkad is
an excellent picnic spot and trekking point for tourists.
Power House Waterfall : 18 Km from Munnar is on the
way to Thekkady from Munnar, which cascades down to step rock 2000m
above sea level.Gives a charming Sight to the tourists.
Thommankuthu : 28 km from Thodupuzha is well-known for
its seven-step waterfall here is a much loved picnic spot. At each
step, there is a fall and a pool beneath to enjoy the panoramic
beauty and ideal for trekking and hiking.
Thusharagiri
: 50kms from Kozhikode, Thusharagiri (means snowy peak)is
a tourist spot. Two streams originating from the Western Ghats and
meet here to form the River Challipuzha. The river diverges into
three waterfalls, creating a hoary spray.
