Itinerary
Day 01: Trivandrum - Kovalam
Upon arrival at Trivandrum airport / Railway station, our
representative will meet you and will transfer you to Kovalam (14
Kms). On arrival at Kovalam, check in at the Hotel. Rest of the day
is at leisure on the beach at Kovalam. Enjoy the scene of Arabian
waves embracing virgin sands of Kerala -Gods own country. Overnight
stay at Hotel in Kovalam.
Day 02:
Kovalam-Trivandrum-Kovalam

In the morning at 0900 Hrs After
breakfast we take you for a day sightseeing of Trivandrum. Visit:
The Napier Museum, Kuthiramalika Museum, Sri Padmanabha Temple. In
the afternoon one can relax at on the beach. Overnight stay at
Hotel, Kovalam.
Day 03: Kovalam –
Kanyakumari-Kovalam In the morning after breakfast, we will
take you for a day trip to Kanyakumari (100 KM/ 3 hrs) enroute visit
Padmanabhapuram palace and Suchindram temple. On arrival at
Kanyakumari, visit the Gandhi Memorial, Vivekananda Rock, Devikanya
temple and having seen the sunset from the southern tip of India ,
return back to Kovalam. Overnight stay at the Hotel in Kovalam.
Day 04: Departure AM: At leisure, later we will
pick you up from the Hotel and transfer you to Trivandrum - airport
/ Railway station . End of Tour / services. Happy Tour Ending
Kovalam Kovalam
16 Km from Trivandrum is gifted with a world famous Beach. The tall
red and white striped light house is the main attraction of the
beach. The light house, which is more than 30 meters high, is open
from 2 pm to 4 pm everyday. Kovalam considered as the Paradise of
the South. It consists of three adjacent crescent beaches and also
picture perfect tropical beaches
Waters and pleasant
climate make Kovalam a great spot for swimming and sun-bathing. The
coast at many places is lined with beautiful patches of coral reefs
which one can explore by snorkeling or speed boating.
The Kovalam beach is divided three successive crescent beaches into
three Lighthouse Beach, Hawa Beach and Samudra Beach.
Trivandrum : Thiruvananthapuram or Trivandrum is the
capital of Kerala the God’s own country. The city is
considered as one of the most beautiful travel destinations in the
state. The city is loaded with pristine and serene beaches and many
more beautiful tourist attractions. The natural beauty of the city
of Trivandrum is also stunning and it attracts thousands of people
from various corners of the world. Sightseeing in Trivandrum is
really very fascinating as there are so many tourist spots spread
all around the city of Trivandrum.
Shree
Padhmanabhaswamy Temple : Shree Padhmanabhaswamy temple is
located inside the East Fort. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, & a
blend of the Kerala and Dravidian styles of architecture. The temple
has a large complex with a huge Gopuram. It has a tank beside it for
religious bathing.It is one of the famous Vishnu temple in the
world.
Padmanabhapuram Palace : It is around
54 kms from Thiruvananthapuram across the border in Tamil Nadu's
Kanyakumari district; the palace built in the 14th Century is
situated at the foot of the Veli hills. First it was called
Darpakulangara, but later in the 18th century it was renovated and
renamed as the Padmanabhapuram palace. It was the ancient capital of
the Travancore rulers Anizham Thirunal Marthanda Varma till the
capital was shifted to Thiruvananthapuram in 1780
Kaudiar
Palace : Kaudiar Palace is the home of the late Maharaja
Sree Chitra Thirunal Bala Rama Varma and his family. The view of the
grand old building from the gate is magnificent, but unfortunately
it is not open for public viewing.
Anchuthengu Fort
: Located 36 kms from Thiruvananthapuram, the historic
remains of the fort built by the British East India Company in the
17th century. This extremely large monument was once the trading
station of the Britishers.
Koyikkal Palace :
The double storied ‘Nalukettu’, Koyikkal Palace
was the official residence of the of the rulers of Travancore. This
ancient palace is 18 km from Thiruvananthapuram on the way to
Ponmudi hill station and the Kuttalam waterfalls. In1979 this Palace
was declared as a protected monument and further in 1990 after
carrying out renovation work, it was converted into a Folklore
Museum and Numismatic Museum.
Napier Museum :
Napier Museum Built in the 19th century, the indo - saracenic
structure boasts a "natural" Airconditioning system. The
museum contains a fine collection of Kerala's bronzes, ornaments and
costumes, and a model of "Tharawad'-the traditional Nair family
home.
Kuthiramalika Palace Museum :
Kuthiramalika Palace Museum, a classic example of Kerala
Architecture is situated in 'Kuthiramalika'. The palace was built by
Maharaja Swathi Thirunal Balarama Varma - the King of Travancore,.
The palace, with its outstanding carvings and marvelous
architectural designs, is by itself a slice of heritage.
Science & Technology Museum : The Science and
Technology Museum, situated in Thiruvananthapuram was established
with the prime objective of setting up of galleries with working,
animated or participatory type of exhibits, on all branches of
Science and Technology.
Veli Tourist Village :
The apparently placid sheet of water that backed away from the
visibility reverberant sea offers a broad idea of the famous
backwaters of Kerala. Located near the airport, this popular scenic
spot offers landscaped gardens and water-sports facilities.Pedal
boats, rowboats, and motored boats are available. Children in
particular have a lot of fun and frolic climbing over the huge
sculptures, which dot the landscape, and riding a ferry.
Sankhumugham Beach : The Shankhumugham Beach is 8 kms
from Thiruvananthapuram city, is a favorite haunt of sunset
watchers. The beach is adjacent to Airport and Veli.the 'Matsya
Kanyaka', a gigantic 35 m long sculpture of a mermaid and a
restaurant shaped like a starfish are the important attractions
here.
Varkala Beach : Varkala 55 kms from
Trivandrum is an important pilgrim centre for the devotees of Sree
Narayana Guru High cliff with rich mineral springs rise royally from
the coastline. The 2000 year old Janardana Swamy Temple and the
Nature Centre are the two main attractions. The beach is named as
Papanasam- which is an favorable place, for Hindus to worship their
ancestors.
Vizhinjam : 2kms from Kovalam is
believed to be an ancient port. The Dutch and Portugese had
commercial establishments here in the past. It is being developed as
a modern fishing harbor.
Ponmudi : A
pleasant resort at an elevation of 912m above sea level. It is 61
kms from Thiruvananthapuram and connected by road. There are many
tree and rubber estates here in the hills are the attractions.
The Kanakakunnu Palace : The Kanakakunnu Palace
is in the heart of Trivandrum city is one of the most beautiful
buildings. The palace and its extensive grounds are today the venue
for many cultural programmes. The Museum building is an
architectural splendor. The Napier museum, the natural history
museum, the reptile house and the Shri Chitra Art Gallery are in the
same complex amidst a well laid out garden and park.
Sree
Chitira Art Gallery : Sree Chitira Art Gallery Located near
the Napier Museum, displays selected paintings of Raja Ravi Varma,
Svetlova and Nicholas Roerich and wonderful works from the Rajput,
Mughal and Tanjore schools of Art in India.
Aruvikkara
Dam - 16 kms away from Trivandrum is on the banks of the
Karamana River.
Kanyakumari – the southern
most tip of Inida is 100 kms from Trivandrum. It is one of the most
popular tourist place in the country Kanyakumari is the confluence
of the Bay of Bengal, the Arabian sea and the Indian ocean.
